Imagination and storytelling are what defines us as a species. Our culture's stories shape and reshape our relationships to Earth, and we have never needed better stories than we do now. Artists and pioneers exist to pull what's on the fringe into the mainstream, so that there is course correction on what new culture we create.

eARTh Agency applies a concept called the ‘Radical Middle’ to all our stories. During an era of extreme polarisation and divisive thinking, we believe the most radical act is to sit within the dynamic space of opposing views, to ask questions, to listen with compassion. This space allows us to excavate and celebrate our inherent kinship and sense of interconnectedness between ourselves and the more-than-human world.

By engaging a diverse collection of advisors during the development stage of each project, we seek to represent the Earth's voice in a balanced way.

We hold the trust placed in us as storytellers to be a sacred pact and believe that story should be voiced from ‘the ground up, not the top down’. For this, we strive to ensure our funding partners share that same sensibility.

Too often, the deeply personal and intimate stories of communities are not available to the very people whose lives they portray. Our distribution ecosystem addresses this issue by ensuring international distribution and applying a ‘white label’ policy of making our films accessible to all.

Filmmaking can be expensive, and wildlife permits are restrictive - so our footage goes to conservation partners and storytellers as a contribution to community-led story from the landscapes we love. Our films do not belong to us, they belong to the Earth and everyone working towards her restoration.
